Community-based rehabilitation in Ethiopia - Concepts, experiences and perspectives
Expert round table discussion with Yirgashewa Bekele Abdi, Ethiopia
Yirgashew Bekele Abdi, special needs education expert and lecturer at Addis Ababa University, will be visiting Vienna in April as part of the appear project RESPOND-HER. At the round table discussion she will share her insights on CBR in Ethiopia. Having written her master’s thesis on the implications of CBR for children with intellectual disabilities and being involved in training for social workers, she will provide an input on the latest trends and directions in CBR programmes.

Film Days 2012
The Commission for Development Studies at the OeAD-GmbH organised film days on "water", which took place from 22nd to 25th of March 2012 in Vienna. On 23rd of March the appear project SUSFISH - Burkina Faso was presented during a panel discussion with Raymond Ouedraogo (DGPA), Gabriele Slezak (Uni Wien) and Robert Burtscher (ADA).
